Containosaurus The Containosaurus stands as a vertical landmark across Lowlands’ flat terrain, four decommissioned 1-ton wind turbine blades stacked atop three shipping containers, creating an unmistakable orientation point within the festival landscape. The assembly requires substantial ballast: water-filled IBC tanks anchor the base, countering wind forces on the vertical structure. Small solar panels integrated into the design allow phone charging, though notably not from the wind turbines themselves. The project demonstrates how decommissioned industrial components, turbine blades typically destined for landfill, can shift function from energy generation to spatial marker.
